LOVE FOR THE WORD

How I love your law, O Lord!

It is my meditation all the day. Your command has made me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers when your decrees are my meditation. I have more discernment than the elders, because I observe your precepts. From every evil way I withhold my feet, that I may keep your words. From your ordinances I turn not away, for you have instructed me.

The Word of God

The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

Thy Word is lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105).

All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies (Psalm 25:10).

Prophecy of the Bible

In that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see. The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall exult in the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 29:18-19).

The Scripture

Whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope (Romans 15:4).

Word of God

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” (Luke 21:33)

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return not thither but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and prosper in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:10-11).

He shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked (Isaiah 11:4).

The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand for ever (Isaiah 40:8).

The Word of the Lord is the greatest treasure of all time that bears fruit to all who abide by it.

Prayer

Make me to know thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; for thee I wait all the day long (Psalm 25:4-5).
